The Exhibitor’s Guide offers a multitude of ways to get involved in this year’s festivities.  “Competitive Exhibits are the heart of county fairs and are a fun way to share a hobby, show off a talent or meet other people with similar interests,” said Rosalie Cope, Canyon County Fair Administrator.  Categories include floral design, art, needlecraft, historical, photography, hobby crafts, ceramics, china painting, fruits and vegetables, horticulture, canning and many more.  There are also professional categories in almost all divisions, offering community businesses a way to showcase their talents.  Cash prizes are awarded for winners.

Open Class exhibitors are encouraged to enter their handiwork online.  Online entry deadline is Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.  This is the simplest way to enter an exhibit at the Canyon County Fair.  Just go to www.canyoncountyfair.org and click on the Exhibitors tab.  You may also mail entry forms to P.O. Box 1269, Caldwell, ID  83606, or you can drop off your entry forms at the Canyon County Fairgrounds – 111 22nd Avenue, Caldwell, ID (upstairs in the yellow Fair building).
