Come to the Canyon County Fair for contests, fun and prizes! You and your family can enjoy entertainment that will have you all laughing before you know it. See how much watermelon you can eat or get your coordination and teamwork on with the three legged race! We’ve also got fun adult contests like pie baking! Come be part of the fun!

The junior rodeo is open to youth ages 8 – 18 and is a qualifying rodeo for the Caldwell Night Junior Rodeo.  With barrel racing, tie-down roping, team roping, ribbon roping and more.

WSSA Cowboy Mounted Shooters

Be prepared for amazing gun stunts and showmanship during the WSSA Mounted Cowboy Shooting event!

Western States Shooting Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of cowboy mounted shooting and to providing exciting events at a low cost. Started in October, 2010 and headquartered out of Nampa, Idaho, it currently encompasses mounted shooting events held in four states: California, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming.

Hogs-n-Mud Wrestling Contest

Hogs n Mud What could be more fun than wrestling a pig in the mud?
Wearing a costume while doing it, of course!

Friday, July 29th
6P.M. in the Rodeo Arena

Be the fastest team to chase a pig through an arena of mud, catch him and place him on a barrel. Teams also have the option to compete for “Best Crowd Pleasing Costume” for a chance to win a Beer and Wing Party (adults) or a Fair Eat-N-Ride Party (Children, Jrs. & H.S.).

Entry Fees:
Children – individual pig scramble, no teams $5 each
Junior $30 per team
Other $40 per team
