Dizzy Hips, also known as Paul Blair is originally from the Lewiston, Idaho area, where he spent much of his youth hiking, running, skiing, rafting and fly fishing. He still does all the same things, he just does them now while hula-hooping. Dizzy started hooping in kindergarten where he practiced for 2
years…because he flunked (not because of hooping, mostly because of finger painting with his feet.) In 3rd grade he got 2nd place in the hula-hooping contest…and has been trying to make up for it ever
since. Perhaps that explains his many appearances in Ripley’s Believe it or Not! and Guinness World Records! He holds several records including the “most Hoops Spun at Once” (136), “The Most Revolutions of a Hoop in one Minute” (207), “Swimming While Balancing and Object on the
Forehead” ..aka “The Human Seal”. Dizzy Hips has performed his Cique-style act, comedy- vaudevile hoop show and team-building programs in 18 countries around the world. He regularly hosts hula-hoop “playshops” and seminars. he has trained 6 current Cirque du Soliel performers. Paul “Dizzy Hips” Blair is now based in Las Vegas, Nevada where is a regular conference performer and world records consultant.
